REPORT ON INTERNATIONAL BELIEVERS CONVENTION
“WOMEN OF HONOUR”
HELD FROM 3RD TO 5TH NOVEMBER, 2006
This year’s International Believers Convention was organized by the “Women of Honour” the Women’s Ministry of the Church.
The three-day power-packed Convention was held at the auditorium of Jubilee International Church, Eagle’s Nest Chapel, under the theme “Excel Than Them All” (Prov.31:29 Amp.) .
The Convention started on Friday, 3rd and rounded off with a thanksgiving service on Sunday 5th November.
Speakers for the Convention were in the persons of Rev. Dr. Josephine Adjeman, wife of Bishop Adjeman of Winners Chapel, Ghana, Miss Joyce Aryee, Executive Director, Salt and Light Ministries, also the Chief Executive of the Ghana Chamber of Mines and Bishop Doris Akumiah of Jubilee International Churches and Ministries.
Some of the Executives are as follows; Rev. Helen Agbetsoamedo, (National Coordinator), Sister Sophia Deh (Dep. National Coordinator), Rev. Gifty Lomo-Mainoo (General Secretary), Sister Jessica Annan (Treasurer).
The main objective of the convention was to make the women aware of their role in the Church, Society, the home and the nation at large.
The women were advised to discipline themselves wherever they find themselves and be role models. |
